EWA at Whisky L! 2020

EWA at Whisky L! 2020

An essential date in the Chinese whisky calendar for enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike, Whisky L! is the largest whisky exhibition and spirits show in Asia.

The event, now in its twelfth year, is organised by the Shanghai-based whisky school Chief Whisky Society (CWS) who are our partner in China.

Our prestigious partnership was kick-started in 2019 with a special signing ceremony in Shanghai. The partnership includes our endorsement of the CWS as a centre of excellence in China for whisky education and sees us deliver our exclusive SQA-certified whisky training courses to all CWS teachers in-person.

We were delighted to have had a presence at Whisky L! 2020 to launch the Mandarin version of our online course, the Introduction to Whisky Certificate. The event was held on the 14-16 August at W Shanghai-the Bund with more than 30,000 people attending.
