Glenmorangie
Glenmorangie Distillery is situated near the town of Tain in Ross-shire, in the Northern Highlands. It is celebrated for its smooth, complex whiskies and its innovative approach to whisky making.
History
The distillery was officially founded in 1843 by brothers William and John Matheson. However, the site was previously used for brewing and distilling as early as the 1730s. Glenmorangie has a long history of whisky production and has been a pioneer in various aspects of the industry. Glenmorangie is currently owned by The Glenmorangie Company Ltd., which is a subsidiary of the French luxury goods group LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton). This acquisition has helped Glenmorangie expand its global presence and marketing.
Production Style & Core Range

Glenmorangie Original 10 Year Old is the flagship expression, known for its smooth and mellow flavour with notes of citrus, vanilla and almonds. Glenmorangie Lasanta is aged for 12 years and finished in sherry casks, offering rich, spicy and nutty flavours.

Glenmorangie Nectar d'Or is finished in Sauternes wine casks, this whisky is known for its sweetness and dessert-like qualities. Glenmorangie 18 Year Old has deep, complex flavours of dried fruit, honey, and nuts.
