Meet the Educator: Lee “Connas” Connor

We’re delighted to welcome Lee “Connas” Connor as our Approved Course Provider in Gateshead. With more than a decade of experience in brand representation, events, training, education, product analysis and professional consultancy, Lee brings a wealth of knowledge to every course he teaches.

Lee’s passion lies in independent, factual communication and delivering quality service across all spirits categories. His deep interest in the technicalities of production and tasting - free from outside marketing influence - led him to seek a structured, practical approach to sharing his expertise as The Distilled Consultant.

When teaching, Lee focuses on creating simple, factual, fun and engaging learning experiences that help students truly understand the whisky industry. He values Edinburgh Whisky Academy’s category-specific, transparent and authoritative courses, delivered in a way that is both enjoyable and educational.
