Review for course from HongKong

Wing Lee , Patrick Law

I've never completed a course like this before and I cannot express how great the system was and the overall content of the material. I would definitely recommend this to my partners as well as friends.

The enrollment process is quick, easy, & seamless. It al makes the experience a pleasurable one, and to be recommended. I would give the course an overall 4.5 rating. My rating would be 5 for content and learnability, Some colour choices on some on-line screens created issues, but I am sure that can be overcome.

Sitting in a hotel room overseas I was browsing the web for whiskies to try and add to my small collection when I came across the Edinburgh Whisky Academy and their online courses. Well what better way to spend time in isolation than to learn about your favorite drink and how it's produced. It is a long time since I lived in the heart of Speyside and enjoyed the smells and visits to the many distilleries. The first EWA course I completed was the Certificate in Scotch Whisky. The online course is excellent with so much information delivered to you in fun ways and at any time you can take a break and the course is automaticaly bookmarked for your return. At the end of each module there is a quiz to test your knowledge and obviously at the end of the whole course there is again more questions. The material is fantastic and more importantly enjoyable. Having completed that course I got bored in my hotel room and having enjoyed it so much I then went and completed 2 additional courses, Wake Up Your Whisky Nose and Focus on Flavour. Each course has a downloadable Cetificate for you to print off. If you are any way interested in the History of Whisy and how it is produced then you will enjoy these courses and learn so much. Fantastic course as previoulsy described.

Brilliant introduction to Scotch Whisky

Frank Hughes

Loved this intro course...really whetted my appetite to dig deeper...which I will do...maybe wee bit more on water (source, minerals etc)...and a wee bit more on copper and its influence on the distillation / cooling process...but can’t complain
