Feedback from our 2024 Sensory Appreciation Course Participants in New York

A huge thank you to Todd Richman and Matt Greitzer for sharing their thoughts after attending the Edinburgh Whisky Academy’s Certificate in Sensory Appreciation course in New York last year, taught by Approved Course Provider, Lia Niskanen.

Todd, who is National Whisky Specialist at Samson and Surrey, noted, “I really enjoyed Lia's approach and vision for sensory training. The concept of seasonality in Scotch whisky was a highlight, and the mindfulness she brought to the course is something I’ll carry forward in my career.”

Matt, who is Owner of Silver Brothers Distillery, added, “The course was a great foundational approach to tasting and sensory analysis in a relaxed, open environment.”
